【枯山水のミニチュアを作ってみませんか？　Do you know “Karesannsui”?】

オリンピックが近づいているせいか、日本文化が改めて注目・評価されていますね。
さて、そこで桜の聖母生涯学習センターでも「日本庭園」をテーマにした講座を行います。

今回は、“禅”の考え方を学びつつ、日本庭園の「枯山水」のミニチュアを作ります。
枯山水の背景にある自然との調和の考え方などを、「砂」と「石」を自分なりに置きながら学んでみませんか？

Do you know “Karesannsui”?

It’s a traditional Japanese dry landscape garden often called a Zen garden. The landscape is carefully composed arrangements of rocks, water features, moss, pruned trees and bushes, and uses gravel or sand that is raked to represent ripples in water.For example, Ryoanji in Kyoto is very famous !

We will learn a history of this Zen garden and make a miniature model of Karesannsui in this lesson. Won’t you join our class?
